-Alex now has 4 .... holy shit.
-Lets try not to be violent. We had someone get a bruise from an overhand stab, thats a big excessive.
-If someone is practicing percussion in the fine arts wing, even if they aren't in a rehersal or lesson, you can not spork them.

Thus Spoke the Sporkmaster
As of right now there are 148 people remaining in the game. That means that about 30-35 people have been sporked so far which is a pretty good pace. I would like to get some opinions on whether this weekend coming up should be a free for all or if we should wait another week so that you will actually know who is playing...
Also just to clarify, if there are multiple people left in the end, the person with the most points will not get all of the money, they will get more, but everyone who is left at the end will be rewarded in some way shape or form that involves money.

Clarifications
I've been getting a lot of questions about boat ride and certain sporkings....
Boat ride will be spork free but only on the boat.
If a teacher says a room is spork free but does not have a sign, that room is spork free. We still need to figure out what happens if a teacher thinks it is implied that their room is spork free....

PTP'ers
Kevin Davis and Elysa Coury joined Alex at the top of the leader board with two sporkings today. Kevin did two in two periods during school. Kudos to all three... Does anyone have an opinion on whether or not boatride should be spork free? Post it here.

The Sporking Begins
There are about 10-15 people out so far (exactly 173 remaining in the game). Congrats to Alex Trivilino who put himself on the top of the leaderboard with his second sporking today. If anyone has any cool stories or anything like that please post them in a comment here or something like that...

1st Day!!!
Welcome to Blue Devil Sporks 2008-2009. Besides the rules posted on this blog, there will also be a daily blotter of who gets out and a running total of how many people each participant has gotten out. Whether you have facebook or not, you can always come here for updates and pertinant information. This first rotation might be a little bit rocky getting everything sorted out, but if you did not get a sporkee email either wesley or me immediately. 9/22 is the best day of the year. have fun and good luck.

General Rules
1.The game will officially begin at the start of 5th period on 9/22/08
2.The main purpose of the game is to poke your sporkee with a spork when they do not have one in their hands or mouth.
3.The game will officially end at the senior picnic. Note* This is different from years past. Usually the game ends when the first person goes off to college. However, last year there were 30 people still in the competition when it was brought to a close. This drastically cut down on the winners’ earnings and killed the enthusiasm and intensity of the game. Thus, the game will end at 1:30pm on June 10.
4.We will keep track of the number of people each person gets out. This will factor into the end results to determine the winner. Hopefully, this will add incentive to move the game along.
5.Every two weeks you will receive a new sporkee. This will happen on a Monday. There will be a free for all on the 12-14th days of the rotation. This means the second Friday through the weekend until you receive your new sporkee the following Monday.
6.Sporks only count whenever they are in the hands or mouth.
7.Sporkfree Zones include the following: sporting, musical, band, orchestra, and choir practices or events, labs, religious services (funerals, weddings, church, synagoge, etc.), designated "spork-free" zones in the school, work, the fine arts department only if you're IN CLASS and hospitals/doctor's appointments.
8.No law-breaking in attempt to spork someone (i.e. breaking and entering)
9.No forcible removal of your anyone's spork.
10.Whenever you spork your sporkee, their sporkee becomes your new sporkee.
11.The spork must be in your hand when sporking you sporkee (no throwing, dropping onto, etc)
12.No adhesives (i.e. tape)
13.No stealing anyone else's spork(s).
14.When you spork your sporkee, you take their spork to the sporkmaster.
15.If you plan to spork someone after they regain conciousness (i.e. waking up) you must give them at least a minute to regain conciousness.
16.One must supply their own spork(s).
17.Having 2 or more sporks in your mouth and/or hand(s) at the same time will count the same as not having a spork at all. You may only have 1 spork in your possession at all times.
18.The spork must have at least 2 prongs to qualify.
19.No concealing the spork which you are holding (i.e. keeping it in your pockets or covering with blankets
20.Sporking your sporkee while they are sleeping is not allowed when they are sleeping in THEIR OWN HOUSE. All other places where they are sleeping, they are fair game (i.e. the AO, study hall, someone else's house).
